Full-Time Teacher's Assistant
Description: Stonehill Christian Academy is seeking a teacher’s assistant for the Kindergarten through 2nd grade class. Job duties for this position can include physically assisting students with tasks like eating, using the bathroom, and moving from one classroom to another. The assistant will be called upon to provide instructional assistance to K-2 students and special needs students, as well as other tasks as assigned by the principal or K-2 teacher.
Experience: The successful applicant must have experience working with students ages 5-8. Experience working with special needs students is preferred. We are seeking a professional who will be able to help provide students with an enhanced academic and spiritual climate. The successful applicant must also be flexible, have good classroom management skills, and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
